A French scientist to the new office of the IPCC


The plenary meeting of intergovernmental experts on the evolution of Climate Change (IPCC) meeting in Dubrovnik from October 5 elected members of the executive committee of the new IPCC Bureau, the Presidency is entrusted to the Korean researcher Hoesung Lee. France and Europe are well represented.

The French climatologist Valérie Masson Delmotte accesses the post co-president of the Group No. 1, which focuses on climate knowledge. Valérie Masson-Delmotte is an internationally recognized scientist, specialist past climates and climate variability, belonging to the Laboratory of Climate Sciences and the Environment.
