The French Polar Institute at COP21

From December 1 to 3, IPEV is present in Paris as part of the COP 21.

A joint stand at Le Bourget in “Generations climate” space is open to all. Several actors in Brittany are present around the Ocean and Climate theme with the French Polar Institute.

 

  • The director of institute Yves Frenot participated in a round table on the draft Wild Touch in ANtarctica. 2 photographers Vincent Munier and Laurent Ballesta are currently in Adelie Land to convey their vision of this magical environment
  • On 2 and 3 December, researchers from LGGE and the Biological Station of Concarneau accompanied by personal IPEV animate the stand at Le Bourget to present the science conducted in the polar regions and the new capacity of the research vessel Marion Dufresne  to the scientific research.
