New Director of Australian Antarctic Division
the 4th of December 2018, a new Director of the Australian Antarctic Division has been announced by the Federal Minister for the Environment.
Kim Ellis, who is currently the Executive Director of Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands in New South Wales, will take over the top job in February.
Having led a diverse range of high profile government and science organisations, Mr Ellis will bring a wealth of experience to the Australian Antarctic Program.
Mr Ellis will take over the role from Dr Nick Gales, who has retired after more than two decades working at the Division.
