Researchers’ night
For the European Researchers’ Night, the general public is invited to share an evening with researchers in several European cities.
In Brest, the event is taking place at Océanopolis and the French Polar Institute will be present with an astronomer, Ludwig Klein, to present his scientific project: the study of cosmic rays from Antarctica and the Kerguelen Islands.
But what exactly is cosmic radiation? Why go all the way to Antarctica to study this radiation? Why is it important to measure it? These are some of the questions that the French Polar Institute and the Paris Observatory will be answering during this European Researchers’ Night.
