No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out on the basis of the data collected on this website.
Origin of the data
The data published in the staff directory comes from the professional information held by the Institute as part of the employment relationship. The data appearing in the scientific project pages comes from the applications submitted to the Institute by project leaders.
Recipients and processors
The data is intended for authorised IPEV departments. Technical processors and service providers are also involved: the website host, the email delivery service (Mailjet), Google services (audience measurement, mapping, anti-spam protection) and Meta services (display of Facebook and Instagram posts).
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Google, Meta) may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses, adherence to the Data Privacy Framework where applicable). IPEV takes care to limit such transfers.

Your rights

You also have a right to object for processing based on the public interest task (directory, project pages). The right to data portability applies only to processing based on consent (audience measurement, newsletter).
You may exercise these rights with the data protection officer (see above).

People listed in the directory and project pages
Staff members listed in the directory and people named in the scientific project pages may at any time request the rectification of their information, or object to its publication, by contacting the data protection officer.
